Health Benefits And Uses Of Cordyceps

Support for Lung health
What is Cordyceps?

Cordyceps, also known as caterpillar fungus, is a capless mushroom that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2000 years to treat a variety of health problems. It is more potent than ginseng and was worth four times its weight in silver in ancient times. Cordyceps has a high place in Chinese pharmacopoeia, which has only recently been integrated into medical practise in the West.
Cordyceps Militaris
At Xtend-Life, we have chosen to use Cordyceps militaris instead of the more common Cordyceps sinesis. This decision is based on research showing that the militaris strand contains higher levels of bioactive ingredients, polyphenols and flavonoids, and therefore can provide a stronger antioxidant effect.
